  25. The screen filling with }}}}, etc. could be due to a speed mismatch
  26. somewhere (e.g. between Kermit and modem).  The fact that you can
  27. successfully log in seems to contradict that, so it might also be
  28. a flow control problem.

  30. Make sure that your modem and Kermit (or the far-end and Kermit
  31. depending on the modem) are set for the same type of flow control
  32. and the same speed.
